Say NO to an IPAS Center in the heart of Crossmolina

Say NO to an IPAS Center in the heart of Crossmolina
The Issue
I am a proud resident of Crossmolina, a close-knit community of just 1,000 people—and today, our town is facing an imminent threat.
The Dolphin Hotel, at the very heart of our vibrant town, is set to be transformed into an IPAS (Internationl Protection Asylum Seekers) center.
From bitter experience, we know the harsh reality of such changes. These centers bring increased insecurity, strain already overstretched public services, and cause property values to plummet. Small communities like ours simply cannot bear the burden.
What’s worse? The voices of the people—our voices—are being ignored. Decisions like this are being made behind closed doors, leaving families to endure disruption, businesses to suffer, and communities like Crossmolina to struggle.
As tax-paying citizens, we have a right to protect our peace, our homes, and our future. Crossmolina is a town built on unity, respect, and shared prosperity—but this plan threatens to tear apart everything we’ve worked so hard to build.
We say NO to this proposal. We demand the state abandon plans to convert the Dolphin Hotel into an IPAS center. Let’s work toward solutions that respect our community, not destroy it.
Time is running out. Sign this petition today to safeguard Crossmolina—our homes, our families, our future. Together, we can protect the town we love.
Act now before it’s too late!
