I believe that Sound Transit needs to fully fund an equivalent replacement school, with every resource and capability that the current school possesses. As a not for profit itself, ST should understand the impact this project will have on PNB, and treat it no differently than they would a public school.

Sound transit should do the right thing! PNB and it's schools are of vital importance to the Puget Sound region!

I understand the need for transportation improvement and support it. Howerver, adequate compensation needs to be made for the PNB Francia Russell Center.

Pacific Northwest Ballet School is counted among the five most prestigious ballet schools in the United States. Since the opening of the Francia Russell Center (FRC) in Bellevue, Eastside student have had the opportunity to participate in this world-class arts education experience. In addition to regular students, FRC also has an outreach program for talented students from low-income families. Francia Russell Center is among the things that makes the Eastside a great place to live and continues to attract young families. Please make it possible for this amazing institution to continue to provide first class arts education to hundreds of students.

Ballet is one of the most important things to me in my life, and I know it is for many others as well. The PNB school is a second (or first) home to many dancers, offering them an amazing dance education, one of the best on the west coast. So many memories, old and new have been formed here, and taking it down would be like tossing away those memories. Not to mention, building a new school with not enough funds, takes away from the education of these dancers, that all have the potential to be amazing. We all understand how important public transportation is and respect it, but without those 5 million dollars the PNB school cannot be the magnificent training facility that it is known as today.

I believe that the arts need to be supported by government funding in addition to private donations. In New York students get transit passes for school and afterschool programs. I hope they do the same at PNB

It's of the utmost importance that arts organizations be supported by the government and community. How will this company survive without the tuition from this school?
