In Australia drought doesn’t recognise borders.

Ocean pollution doesn’t stop at borders either.

Whilst every drop of water is precious, each year Australia dumps enough waste water to fill Sydney Harbour almost three times from its 181 coastal outfalls. 

This water contains nutrients, microplastics and other substances that pollute our coastal environment.

We must do better.

By upgrading Australia’s waste water systems, we can reuse much of this water, reduce ocean pollution at the same time and save billions of dollars.

But we need both Federal and State politicians to start working together to save this water and engage with the community on a transparent process to get there.
