Wildlife needs to be protected and its habitat not destroyed by unnecessary development.

This is a public outrage, I have just looked at the planning portal and seen all the objections, why doesn't anyone listen? What is the Town Council for if it is not to protect valuable green spaces like this and listen to the people of Warminster. Do they not understand the climate change emergency/biodiversity crisis we are in.

How about a traffic census, this development will have a huge impact on the small narrow single track at Smallbrook Road. This will affect not only wildlife but the wheelchair users, disability scooters, cyclists, joggers and people walking, pushchairs and families. Wiltshire Council should now protect this site by accrediting it with County Wildlife Site status thus ensuring the connectivity and preventing further fragmentation of this important wildlife area on the edge of Warminster.
From what I am led to believe it ticks all the necessary boxes and is just a matter of will from Wiltshire Council. I urge people to visit the site and read the other objections and put their comments on the website. https://development.wiltshire.gov.uk/pr/s/planning-application/a0i3z000014ev6tAAA/2007214rem?tabset-8903c=3

The biodiversity of this area MUST not be lost- this is part of irreversible losses that our country has failed to protect, to the detriment of nature and people

It's an incredibly special and beautiful area, and home to an amazing variety of wildlife including many rare species. Once these places are gone they are gone for ever, and too many are disappearing from our world.

I value our Wildlife and feel their is enough light pollution. Also there is lots of developments happening elsewhere in our Town.
