Save Tullibody's Public Park

Clackmannanshire Council propose to build a new very large community campus on the site of the public park, to include three schools and all local amenities. This is to save money on building costs but at the cost of OUR public space.
Tullibody is a growing community and as more homes are built we need to protect the precious green space we have left.
This public park is used daily by everyone in Tullibody and from towns/counties nearby. It’s a place for our children to play, keep fit, and play sports. Its used by sports clubs, for both adults and children. It gives a great space to walk, get fresh air and keep healthy. Babies and small children learning and experiencing the outdoors. Dog walkers. Community events, Healthy Living fun days and fayres. We all use this space. This land should not be taken from us. Once built, there is nowhere in Tullibody that equals this size to replace that green space, The councillor mentioned the Coosie which is too small and run down for the growing size of Tullibody. This will be a great loss for our future generations.
This cannot be undone.
There is absolutely no guarantees from the Council that once built the existing land at Abercromby & St Bernadette’s schools will not be sold off for profit. This has been proven at the old Alloa Academy site where this land was gifted to the people of Alloa from the Earl of Mar for the purpose of education but the Council got around this and sold it off.
Clackmannanshire Council initially proposed nine options of which only three have ever be made public. There were a further six options, three options to upgrade the existing school and three options to build on the land at the side of the school. There is more than adequate space to build on site but they dismissed this option, as primarily it would be an "inconvenience" to staff & pupils for a short time. St Ninian’s Primary school in Stirling are doing exactly this without problem. Their plans are on Stirling Councils website.
I ask Clackmannanshire Council to stop deceiving us and open those alternative proposals to the public to let everyone see that a new Abercromby Primary School can be easily built on site without these escalating costs and compromising our communities green space forever.
