Please help us save the old wooden Welcome to Okotoks signs!

The Town of Okotoks has recently replaced the old signs and they are being removed and sent to the landfill. I have requested to have them. I have offered to store them and restore them at my own expense.

The town denied my request and will be removing them and sending them to be destroyed.

I am the vice president of the Okotoks Historical Society and am very involved in the arts community. I feel the signs are a big part of our history and should be restored or re-purposed.
