Yarrow Point town hall has been a historic location for pickleball in the points for many years now. Since the revival of the tournament 13 years ago the championship has been played there every year along with many other games throughout the yearly tournament. In recent years the condition of the court has continually worsened due to wear and tear amongst other things. Because of this the town wants to turn to the cheaper easier alternative of a plastic court. This is taking place despite the fact that the tournament stopped using plastic courts because of how many problems came with them. We want to try and show the town that the cheapest path is not the best way forward and that we have many residents young and old who want to continue this history for another 13 years. Pickleball is a big part of our community and we deserve  the best surface to play on for many years to come.
