The decision made by Asian International School, Dhulagori,Howrah to increase tuition fees by Rs 1000 per month at the middle of the session, which is around a 50% hike on the original fees. This is totally in contradiction to fees rules as decided by the Self Regulatory Commission set up by Hon'ble CM madam.

The fees of LKG to Class V was Rs 2000/Month in the 2017-18 session. In 2018-19 session the fees has been revised to 2200/Month i.e a 10% hike per yer.But recently they have sent a extra challan through students asking for making payment of extra Rs.1000/Month increased fees which is around 50% hike on the original fees.

Also, as it is clear that the fees hike took place unilaterally without any consultation with guardians. No updation with regard to fees hike has been made in the school's website.

When enquired, Principal Madam informed us that she had talked to 52 guardians out of 236 which amounts to just 20% of total guardians. We have also sent a mail to herself requesting to reconsider her decision and also for arranging a meeting with all guardians. But till now she hasn't responded to our mail.

This abrupt increase has come as a rude shock for us, the poor and helpless guardians as we are are concerned about the future of our wards.Being middle class people this fees hike is putting a lot of strain on our family finance.

We appeal to your esteemed office for fast intervention in the resolution of our problem. Please do the needful at the earliest as school authorities are threatening us with frightening consequences.
