I am a big fan of The Shining franchise and the character of Dick Hallorann (who was supposed to get a movie).

When The Shining sequel (Doctor Sleep) was released in 2019. There were plans for a prequel and the script was already written by Mike Flanagan, same person who written and directed Doctor Sleep. It was supposed to tell the origin of Dick Hallorann and his life in Derry Maine, it was an interesting idea. But due to Doctor Sleep making only 72 million dollars. The prequel (Hallorann) was canceled by Warner Bros., i was excited for this movie but will never see it made. If you love the franchise, sign this petition for more installments!
