On September 16, 2022, it was announced that The Phantom of the Opera would close on Broadway in early February 2023. It is arguably the world’s most beloved piece of live theatre and has been seen by millions of Phans across the globe. 

I, like many other Phans, am shocked and beyond devastated by this news. I can’t even begin to describe what this show means to me. Without Phantom, there is no Broadway.
