Save the Penn Harris Oak Trees

Save the Penn Harris Oak Trees
Why this petition matters

I’m not asking for your money or your time. This is just about a tree. A tree on the patio of the hotel where I have worked for many many years. A giant red oak tree planted on the Patio of the Penn Harris hotel in Camp Hill, PA in 1963. It’s huge. It’s amazing and unfortunately one of its roots is pushing up one of the concrete blocks. This petition is to save the tree on the left in the pic. I’m not very technologically advanced and the pic of the single tree in jeopardy of being cut down was too large and I don’t know how to change that. I don’t know about anyone else reading this but I am growing incredibly tired of humans just chopping shit down to take the easy way out. We do it with subdivisions and shopping centers constantly. The risk of losing this one tree turned out to be just a little too much for me and I have to try to do something. I figure we could lose some concrete a few feet on our patio or explore other options. It’s not on the chopping block yet but I figure if I could gather enough signatures by the time they come to that inevitable decision maybe we could change some minds. Literally anyone on here could be a potential guest at this hotel and I would have to think a large turnout of support might sway the opinions of the people who make the decisions. If you love trees, let’s get that signature. Please and thank you.
