🚨 Montrose Boulevard Project: More Cost, Less Benefit 🚨

Because of delays and unnecessary compromises, phase one of the Montrose Boulevard project is now costing $3 MILLION more—and what do we have to show for it?
 • Lost: Half a mile of ADA-compliant sidewalk by the cemetery
 • No shared-use path
 • No safe crossing at West Clay

In total, we’ve lost $6 million in missing infrastructure and increased costs. Meanwhile:

🌳 Trees are still being removed, and there’s no tree care plan—imagine what $3M could have done for them.
🔌 Utility poles still cut through our trees, with no real solution in sight.

Instead of a better Montrose, we’re paying more for a project that delivers less than the original plan submitted over a year ago. Thanks to those responsible, the community is left covering the cost or the TIRZ going into debt.
