The Lilly Pad needs our help. 

Why?

The county is requiring a provisional use permit in order to let the restaurant to continue operating. The Lilly Pad got "too popular" last year and the county wants to get public feedback at a community meeting. Being held April 4th at 6:00pm 

The Lilly Pad supports the community, helps create jobs and gives back.  Last year 2021 this small owned business grew creating 52 jobs, and paid 215,000 to the county and state taxes. The restaurant and marina supported several small businesses, local farms, recreational boating, the Christmas Boat Parade, and helps to foster a welcoming, diverse, and multicultural  experience and environment! They also raised money for Varina High School Athletic Programs, local fishing tournaments, and the James River Association, among others.
