We should keep the nature as it is! Don’t put any more artificial things to damage it.

This beach hosts a natural river mouth and several sea turtle nests. It has the potential, through eco-tourism, to re-vitalize the economy of Katoku village. Without its natural beach, the village will die a slow death, as not many people will be willing to visit such a remote village just to see the usual gray seawall on the shore. Thus, the protection of Katoku beach will benefit both nature and people.
