Georgia State University (GSU) has an advertisement in today’s print edition of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution announcing their required public hearing before being allowed to demolish the historic substation building at 148 Edgewood Ave NE will be on Wednesday, May 28th, between 5:00pm and 7:00pm at 100 Auburn Ave NE.

The advertisement states that GSU is looking to replace the building with "new, expanded greenspace, and developing pedestrian-friendly connections across campus."

Please plan to attend and make your voice heard in person! Whether or not you can attend, contact GSU President M. Brian Blake and let him know to keep this pedestrian-friendly building and to find somewhere else (like the adjoining GSU-owned parking lots) to expand the campus's greenspace!
