Hawksbill Sea Turtles are critically endangered animals. The turtles are already estimated to be 10,000 in the wild and 1,000 in captivity. Furthermore, these turtles are getting depleted in huge numbers due to overharvesting and illegal trade. If the turtles go extinct, then sea sponges and urchins will grow in number. Sea sponges and urchins mostly feed on corals, so corals will be next to go extinct.

You would be wondering how is it related to humans? Corals protect us from fierce storms and help in avoiding shoreline erosions. Without them, we humans will suffer from storms we can't even think of. If we don't react quickly, it will lead to an environmental disruption. This is telling something very important- " The Sea Turtles are telling us that the marine life is in danger which means us dying NEXT".
