The fly is a great place to chill and relax, and on the weekends it's a newMoreland block party!

Everyone deserves a nice green place they can go and "reboot" for a few hours. Parks and greenery should be able to be enjoyed by all who meet requirements to do so.

I'm signing this petition because of all the hot and memories this place has brought me throughout my life. When I was a child, we lived in New Orleans and my mother (who's no longer here) and I would bike here every day with my step dad. (Now all that remains is the memories.) Between those young years and my now 20s I've made a million memories there and think it should remain the Fly so that more people can experience the beauty and make their own memories. I come here with my husband and our 1 year old daughter because there's not many places like this left in Louisiana. I've made friends here and spent days here. It's an incredibly beautiful spot and Nola doesn't deserve to have that taken away.
