Since last decade unemployment, economic exploitation and economic crises increased day by day and today rate of unemployment is highest among Dental surgeons,after 2nd wave of covid-19 private private clinics owners also facing severe economic crises. During last 12-13 yr more than 3 lacs dental graduate passout from 300+ dental colleges across country average 25K/ Yr, but  less 2% are employed in govt sector and more the 35k employed in dental colleges (more than 270 private colleges). Private colleges are source of economic exploitation most of pay less than 10K/month to a dental graduate and salary of a fresh dental post graduate less than 25K. Similar condition of Dental surgeons who are working in others clinics. The earnings of young dental surgeon are also less due to various causes.

Unemployment dramatically increase in medical graduate too. 

Our demand are following -

1. Creation of more jobs for Dental & Medical graduates and PGs in PHC/CHC/District hospitals. It beneficial both Doctors and general citizens of Nation which can't afford treatment in private sector. As we seen during Covid-19 pandemic govt health sector doing great job in limited resources.

1. Dissolve Dental Council of India immediately

2. Reduce 50 % UG/ PG seats of private dental colleges.

3. 1 dental surgeon health Wellness centre.

4. Eradicate quackery

5. include all dental treatment in Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

6. Stop economic exploitation of Medical and Dental faculties, PGs and interns.

All this demand should help  Dental fraternity and also help citizens of country inform of better  general &oral health
