Council wants to remove the clothing trailers at Maribrynong River, even though it provides an important service to Moonee Valley residents.
 
Since placement in 2021, the clothing trailer has diverted more than 34,000 kilograms of textiles, equivalent to the weight of over 5 helicopters. The items are collected by SCRgroup, Australia's largest and most innovative clothing reuse and recycling company. 94% of what's collected is reused or recycled locally or globally, supporting our growing circular economy.
