Largest US Wetland Bank Faces New Threats; Please Support Environmental Candidates

Hello Supporters of Florida's Wetlands, Thank you for signing the petition to protect the largest Wetland Mitigation Bank in the U.S.A. from development.  New threats, such as a massive highway interchange on I-95 in Volusia County, FL, are looming in the near future unless something is done.  Local conservationists need your help, and one of the best ways to help is to support environmental candidates on the ballot.  One such leader is Derek LaMontagne, a dedicated protector of the environment and public health, who is running for Mayor of Port Orange, FL, which is one of the cities at the epicenter of large-scale, high-impact, slash-and-burn development of critical habitat in Florida. Even if you don't live in Port Orange, please consider sharing his campaign website (SavePortOrange.com) or social media page with friends who do or might be able to help.  Donations also are welcome, as big developer interests are funding his incumbent opponent and do not want to see laws changed to give stronger environmental protections.  The primary election which might decide the race is August 18th, so please act soon and remember to vote. Thank you for your help! Naturally, The SaveSpruceCreek.com Team
