Repealing the 8th - Discriminates against Disabilties with proposed clauses

This is my first Petition, im not sure how it will do but I have high hopes!
I am a Pro Life person , I have never attended any rally's as of yet due to commitments, but I do feel an urge to do something. I can't sit back and do nothing. I have always been pro life but until I heard about the 21 proposed clauses I now have this burning passion inside to try and do something.
I am just a mammy to special needs warrior princess who doesn't want her daughter growing up in a country that thinks its OK to abort a baby with a disability at any gestational age with no limits. I was offered assistance by my maternity hospital to travel to UK to abort when we got our diagnosis at the anomaly scan.
Here is a list of fetal abnormalities some as minor as club foot or cleft palate:
Agenesis of the corpus callosum
Amniotic band syndrome
Caudal regression syndrome
Coarctation of the aorta
Double outlet right ventricle
Endocardial cushion defect
Exstrophy of the bladder
Fetal alcohol syndrome
Focal femoral hypoplasia
Hypoplastic left heart syndrome
Infantile polycystic kidney disease
Intrauterine growth retardation
Limb-body wall complex
Multicystic dysplastic kidney
Multiple pterygium syndrome
Posterior urethral valves
Tetralogy of Fallot
Transposition of the great vessels
Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome)
Turner's syndrome (Monosomy X)
Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome
Vein of Galen malformation
Ventricular septal defect
I am even more shocked to learn that our Ministers for Disabilty , Health and Children are for Repeal!! Those people we parents of children with disabilities depend on the most!
Do people actually realize how stretched the HSE is already, if the 8th is repealed this is only going to add to the pressure on the HSE staff, budgets will be cut left right and centre and probably from disability services. Has the Minister Simon Harris taught or even considered a budget if this is brought in, where will the money come from? Where will the extra staff and clinics come from?
What's even more worrying is 'The Repealers' from discussions online have not actually read the 21 proposed clauses - they are so adamant on their vote but not actually read into what they are voting for!
I believe the reason for the no gestational age limit for those with a fetal abnormality is because not all hospitals do a full anomaly scan , some do them at 12 weeks , some do them around 20 weeks.... Should they try limit it to an age they would need to perform these at an earlier date in pregnancy.
Perhaps the government and everyone should be fighting more for a better healthcare for everyone ? Reduce waitlists on the most vunerable to need surgery, equipment and interventions.
While its great that recently it was announced the UNCRPD will be ratified soon, its also a let down and kick in the teeth that the optional protocol for complaints will not be implemented with it.
If you want to stand up for people with disability's in this 8th Amendment campaign please sign and share for a better future , a better caring , more inclusive future.
For now I would like to stay anonymous, as I do not want to be trolled while trying to go about my daily life , but I will come forward proudly towards the end and intend on bringing this to Dail to present to the ministers.
We need to Save the 8th, and should we loose this precious battle we need to ensure that it does not discriminate against those with disabilities.
