Taylor Point is the last undeveloped headland along the Cairns coast and it has significant environmental , cultural , heritage , scenic and recreational value. It includes walking tracks between Kewarra Beach and Trinity Beach offering spectacular views and the experience of a range of ecosystems. It is truly an outstanding environmental asset for the Cairns region.

This petition supports the Cairns community's call for the Queensland Government to buy back Taylor Point and apply initiatives to preserve, maintain and enhance biodiversity through sustainable management of this environmentally significant country, for the benefit of all.
