Save Ridgecrest Park Tennis Courts

Save Ridgecrest Park Tennis Courts
Dear Aliso Viejo residents, and all in the tennis community,
We need your help! The AVCA Board of Directors and the Parks & Landscape committee are currently considering 'repurposing' the tennis courts at Ridgecrest Park, converting them into pickleball courts.
The tennis courts are owned by AVCA and are the only two tennis courts in a city of 50,000 people. Since they were built in 2002, thousands of adults and children have played tennis, or learned to play tennis in the group lesson programs offered at Ridgecrest Park including many of the kids on the JV and Varsity tennis teams at Aliso Niguel High School. Now, the Board is considering eliminating those opportunities by installing pickleball courts.
We ask you to support this petition and object to the conversion of the tennis courts into pickleball courts. Please share this link with your family, friends, and colleagues to help us keep the tennis courts for tennis and urge AVCA to designate another location specifically for pickleball.
Thank you!
