Quakers have been a crossed community charity for over 40years, they have supported women and children from both Catholic and protestant community. The staff helped build women back up when they were at their lowest,  teach them to stand up and be heard. That's its OK not to be OK but you can take time for yourself. They give children a safe space just to be children. The Quakers help families when they are struggling the most at Christmas time even if it's a bag of food to help get you through the week. Some mummy's go to the cottage for peace, others it's the only time they feel supported. To have a meal handed to you that could be the only hot meal you'll get the whole week. For over 40 years they have worked to break the divide in both communities and for the government to just pull the plug on them is disgusting. But yet they get paid for not taking their seat and not helping families when they need it the most, to take away a families life line during a world wide financial crisis, is not only underhanded and disgusting. It's time to call on both sides of the community to pull together and save the cottage.
