Save Parking Vital for Patrons of Beloved Neighborhood Businesses on North Eastlake Avenue
0 have signed. Let’s get to 2,500.
The Washington State Department of Transportation(WSDOT) is considering closing a parking lot at the north end of Eastlake Avenue due to construction of the next two phases of the SR520. They plan to use this parking area for staging/storage and employee/contractor parking. If this parking lot closes, 3 health-related clinics & the Pocock Rowing Center will likely go out of business or be forced to move. The below referenced businesses are working with WSDOT on viable alternatives including one possible location less than 1/4 mile away. We are encouraging WSDOT to work with local businesses who depend on this parking to survive.
PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION AND HELP US CONVINCE WSDOT THAT WE NEED THE PARKING AT THE NORTH END OF EASTLAKE to preserve our community's heritage, the health and welfare of our patients, and the economic viability of the Eastlake neighborhood.

Save Parking for Vital Businesses at North End of Eastlake Avenue
In preparation for our meeting on Thursday, August 17, we we have reached out to our patients and patrons to create awareness of the issue of possibly losing parking for our healthcare clinics and for the Pocock Rowing Center.
We would appreciate if you could please read these comments in preparation for the meeting. We have obtained 1500 signatures as a sampling of the interest in our community in maintaining stable parking for us.
