The updated Eileen Dailly pool schedule has closed all open lanes for lap swimming for a full hour in the middle of the already short Childminding hours.

 There is only 45 mins of Childminding before the hour-long lane closure, and an hour ten after. This time is expected to include child drop off, swimming time, showers/ changing, and pick up.

The schedule has effectively shut the lap pool for caregivers of small kids who rely on Childminding. We are unable to swim laps if there are no lanes available during Childminding hours, or enough time to swim.

We ask that parents and caregivers are given time to access the lap pool with these actions:

1. Extend Childminding hours

2. Leave one lane open all day (standard at most pools)

3. Move the lane closures to after Childminding hours
