Someone is turning the former Huntington Prep School into an affordable housing complex. It's in a secluded area with a small road leading to it risking a lot of people's safety.

If we allow this to go through we run the risk of the influx of people hampering or possibly even fully preventing first responders to help in emergency situations with the roads the way they are. We are risking drugs and violence entering our neighborhoods. With a daycare right by us we are risking exposing so many kids to drugs and with the older community possibly theft and violence. With a very low chance of the Huntington police force being able to help us. This community has worked their entire lives to afford the housing up here and this will destroy all the value of our homes as well as present an immediate threat to our safety.

The council meeting to approve this is October 18, 2022 at 5:30pm. We have to stop this now before someone gets hurt
