This oak tree is older than any of us. The planned sewer renovation has slated this healthy tree to be cut down to put in a sewer drain where the tree is. There’s already a sewer drain on that corner. This tree is magestic. The sewer renovations need to be redrawn to accommodate this tree.

Iowa City has already lost so many old trees due to the Derecho and ash borer disease.

Tree lined streets make this Northside Goosetown neighbor a beautiful place to live.
