Unit 5 is have a meeting about potentially stopping 5th grade music and 8th grade language. These are important to keep because it allows kids to start learning at an early age which helps it stick to them more. Starting music a year before middle school allows everyone to have the basics down before they start the middle school level and keep them on track for the high school level.
