!'SAVE OUR GREEN SPACE' DARNDALE!- There are plans to have a site placed on the green at the front of Darndale near the roundabout for bus corridor improvements for TWO YEARS, obstructing daily life as well as play, for the children. We want improvements to the bus service but not with sacrificing daily life in Darndale, help us by signing this petition.

Councillor Larry O'Toole has lodged a strong submission to the planning board - objecting to their decision to allow, for a two years duration, the placing of a construction site on the beautiful green area in front of Darndale adjacent to the roundabout.

This construction is to facilitate the work on the new bus corridor. While we welcome any upgrade/improvement of the bus service, an alternative must be found for this construction site.

'As a community we must stand against this and Denise Mitchell TD and myself will be strongly objecting.'

We highly encourage residents of Darndale and surrounding not to allow this and to simply sign this petition in the hopes for an alternative site for these two year long plans. These plans will cause noise and scenery issues as well as obstructing our young children and residents from playing on a usual play area/ dog walking area.

If we are successful, we will not have two years of inconvenience and noise issues. But, if we do not stand up and show this is unacceptable, we will have yet another site with more noise and less green space for our kids and dogs yet again. We have the ability to change the outcome now, let yourself be heard by helping us and signing this petition.
