Our Jefferson County Commissioners are prepared to remove current EMS services from 3 of our 7 Fire stations in the county.  There will no longer be any paid staffing or volunteer's at Co.5, Co.7 or Co 6. No EMS Coverage. If you or a family member has a medical emergency, you will have to wait for another company out of your residential area to respond. We the citizens of Jefferson County should have a voice in this. We need paid/volunteer EMS Coverage at all Volunteer Stations in Jefferson County.
