10,000 votes needed to End CWD in our Deer Herds

Officials with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission announced today that a sample collected from a hunter-harvested, white-tailed deer in Yadkin County has tested positive for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). This is the first case of CWD detected in North Carolina’s deer herd. A terrifying thought for animal lovers and hunters a like, a brain killing sickness that effects moose, elk, and deer of all kinds alike. Leading to holes in their brain and spreading like wild fire through the USA since it started in Colorado where they also did nothing to stop it. I love my state, and our deer population being the healthy beautiful creatures they are, if CWD is allowed to spread outside of yadkin county it will be unstoppable just like it has done up north and out west, Hunters and advocates alike pay attention because these deer run around in circles till they die painfully from a brain eating illness which makes the deer in edible too! And it is unknown if it can spread to humans.

As of now wild life officials are only monitoring the situation I want them to quarantine the deer in yadkin county and allow open season to save the 1 million other deer in North Carolina from this horrible fate!

If we get 10,000 votes I believe we can show the wildlife officials how much we care for our deer Save Our State Deer North Carolina!!!! Hunters and wildlife advocates come together let’s end CWD!!!
