NHS Homeopathy Under Threat!
Nov 29, 2015 — Dear Homeopathy Supporters,
Many of you will have seen the terrible press that NHS Homeopathy has had over the last two weeks.
NHS Homeopathy 'could be blacklisted' http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-34744858
As you know the Good Thinking Society has been pressurising Liverpool CCG to stop funding homeopathy. Now the Government is planning a Consultation in 2016 regarding banning NHS Homeopathy, yet only about £4 million per annum is spent on it.
Believe it or not, there was once a huge homeopathic hospital in Liverpool, which was closed in 1976.

These are the options under consideration.
The Faculty of Homeopathy, which regulates homeopathic doctors, as well as the British Homeopathic Association are doing their best to counteract all this.
1. What we really need is for more people to discover the benefits of homeopathic treatment. If we could all offer a free one hour consultation once a month, that would increase interest and spread the word. If more people tried it, perhaps there would be a public outcry if homeopathy was finally outlawed, which may well be the long term plan. Public outcry may be the only thing that could succeed.
2. All homeopaths who have piles of old homeopathic journals and magazines - again, to help the public realise there is so much more to homeopathy than the media portrays, take one or two of these and leave them in doctor's surgeries or dentist's waiting rooms, amongst the piles of magazines already there. This would encourage patients to try homeopathy and again to spread the word.
Finally, thank you all for signing the Petition! PLEASE get more people to sign it!
