At first I thought this to be odd. But poets are specifically trained to observe what is before them and both speak accurately and with passion. People do react to such forms of thought and it makes the common person more comfortable to see something as light hearted as poetry in such an overwhelmingly calculated experiments such as Nasa. Poetry and NASA are an art forms. They force you to be very skilled, quick, and they can deal better with being in there own minds, as Astronauts need to do when they are in the space station.

A large percentage of the advances we enjoy, today, comes STRAIGHT from NASA programs and research! We are RAPIDLY turning into a third-world country and I feel destroying NASA will complete our destruction as a world-leading country!

It seems now that we are less advanced than we were in 1969 when we could actually put a man on the moon. This is unacceptable. We waste so much money on killing people overseas and we cant do something nice something that may better us as a species not just a nation. We let pride blind us to what humanity could have been.
