We’ve collectively stopped the pool in Mount Pleasant Park, for now.

But as we declare victory on this petition, the pool proposal is not dead. We expect it to rear its ugly head, first around this fall's municipal election, and again in 2 years at the midterm review of the capital plan.

So we might need your help again, and would like to provide you with occasional updates about the park/pool. Please:

Enjoy the park this summer! Start with the return of Mount Pleasant Park Festival next weekend, 6-11pm on July 16th. Stop by the paddling pool and tell the Pool Committee why you opposed their pool!
