Think about the homeschoolers who have to go to the libraries to get a book for school or the college students who can't get a book from the campus because the 100+ students have also taken that book they're looking for. we NEED libraries to stay open. it's a place to relax and make new friends. find people who like the same books as you and talk about that. MANGA LOVERS!! nothing feels better than knowing you read differently than the other books. you an't get that from a computer or tablet! so please. help fully fund the Miami-Dade County Library System. when I moved to Miami my first thoughts were to find a library. and I found my first friends at the library. and I'm homeschooled and the library was the place to go and get books.

Libraries are extremely vital to education of all ages. By shutting down so many, Being educated will be a harder goal to reach in many places where these libraries stand.

Because my mom would just about have a heart attack if this goes through, she's a mother of 5 kids so it would be a shame....

Why are our children the ones to suffer for Miami-Dade's poor choices! Enough is enough!

This is important to me because the Library's are a great part of our society and we need them, both adults and children.

We should promote reading and literacy! Give our youth somewhere to go to instead of hanging around the street.

Libraries open the eyes (and brains) of young people (and ALL people) to all the wonders of the world.
