KVHS, also known as 90.5 the Edge, is a student operated radio station in Concord, California. The station is part of the Regional Occupation Program that helps both high school & college students learn from first hand experience in fields they would otherwise not experience.

For over 40 years the station has been broadcasting student produced commercial & station plugs, as well as some of the best music ever played. It has also helped local & unknown bands get their music to listeners across Contra Costa County. As well as provide affordable advertisement space for the local business.

Without this programs the students will miss out on a once in a lift time opportunity, as well destroy what little variety in classes students are offered thus the education system is taking another hit., a 40+ year old institution will be lost forever, and it will ruin the local economy for small business that don't have many alternative forms of reaching out to the community.
