We want Jie Hartje to stay at Upwey high school as 8b's English and Humanities teacher for the rest of the year. Jie has been our teacher for the past term and the whole class loves him and we heard the very unfortunate news that he may not be our teacher for the rest of the year. Jie has affected our learning and our overall well-being so much in a positive way and so we are making a petition for him to be our teacher for the rest of the term. some of us do struggle a lot with our work but Jie has been able to help us be able to understand and not be stressed out. If we don't have Jie as our teacher anymore we don't think it will be easy for any of us since Jie already knows how we work and he knows our capabilities. Jie is one of the teachers that makes you excited to go to English and Humanities classes because he makes it fun and enjoyable. and that is why we want Jie as our teacher.
