No families or person should have to go through a horrible thing like a fire. My husband was burned by a furnace explosion & what he went through was bad enough. Actually being in a vehicle & being burned is unthinkable.!~!~! Jeep must be made to change their vehicles so no one is ever burned.!~!~!

As an owner of a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee I personally experienced a rear end accident at approximately 35 miles an hour while my vehicle was stopped at a red light. The gas tank was pierced and subsequently had to be replaced. The bumper displayed only minor damage and the damage to gas tank was not immediately known as the vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. The striking ford escort was towed from the scene and subsequently a total loss. It wasn't until two days later when the autobody shop was open the damage to the gas tank was discovered, and this vehicle is not included as part of the recall?

I own a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado and this is the first ive heard of this. If the recall has passed then why are jeep owners not being notified to bring there jeep in to be worked on?

I am a mother of a two year old girl and drive a 2006 Jeep Liberty. I am terrified to drive it after learning this and at the same time don't feel good about selling it to someone else who can then be harmed or killed.

It is important to me because my husband bought us one for the family after we got ran over sitting at a stop light in the family car thinking that he was putting us in something bigger and safer and to realize that isn't the case at all! Im utterly disgusted by jeep dragging there feet and putting all these innocent families in this position due to a poorly designed vehicle defect! How many more children need to die before they take action? If they feel that they are so safe then maybe they should drive them with there children strapped down in the backseat that collapses during impact with a failing restrant system that wont let you unlatch from the seat belt before you are engulfed in flames! When I get rid of mine, I will not buy another jeep product and nor will my extended family due to the poor attention they have given such a horrific chance of what will happen to any unfortunate soul who ends up in an accident resulting in a firery death!
