HBO Max shook the world as we knew it when they brought NYCs underground ballroom scene to our television screens. Millions watched as members of houses danced they way into our hearts every week. With Icons in ballroom like Jack Mizrahi behind the scenes and Leiomy Maldonado the Wonder Woman of Vogue and Dashaun Wesley another Icon of performance, alongside celebrity judges like Law Roach, Jameela Jamil & Keke Palmer the show was an instant hit! Unfortunately with the mergers and changes at HBO and HBO MAX the show has been cancelled and the fans are outraged, and heartbroken. With LGBTQ+ shows being so few and far in between besides RU PAULS DRAG RACE, it’s important to have other representation of LGBTQ+ programming on TV! I’m asking you all to sign this petition and fight to keep LEGENDARY on our tv screens! Let’s keep this show going and give more members of the community an opportunity to showcase their talents and chase their dreams.
