California's Great America is going to be closing in the near future.  The park will be demolished and the land redeveloped into homes and businesses.

The Columbia carousel, one of only two in existence, has stood tall since 1976.

Please let the new landowner www.prologis.com know that any development should be built AROUND the carousel, unmoved from its original location, and the building and ride itself should be restored (back to its original Marriott's color-scheme) and saved. 

Saving the reflection pool would be a nice touch, too.
