My son died at the lampost on winyates way in redditch on the 30/09/2000 which was his 18th birthday. My family and I have tended the lampost all year round for 22 years which means this year it would be his 40th birthday. You may just think it’s just a lampost but it’s not to us my boy died there. It has become a shrine to his memory where people take flowers leave messages and so on. The lampost is close to the road and a company wish to build houses there after pulling down the church which we as a family are not against. We have tried to speak with them but met with just lies and delay tactics so please help
