The natural beauty and open outlook of Fisherrow Links is under threat.
Musselburgh Tennis Club are trying to build a large enclosed tennis development with parking on Fisherrow Links. They already have an existing site at Lewisvale next to local schools but want to relocate and build on our open green coastal space. There are other sites they could choose that wouldn't result in a loss of our open space.
They propose to build four tennis courts at the back of the bowling green which is currently home to Musselburgh's only pitch & putt. Fisherrow Links is currently host to a childrens play park, bowling green, pitch & putt, football pitches, festivals and galas. Not to mention dog walkers and people simply out enjoying the open green coastal space.
The proposals to develop on Fisherrow Links would displace many people and result in the loss of our common ground.
Musselburgh is losing its remaining green spaces.
Don't let East Lothian Council approve this plan.
Don't let Fisherrow be destroyed.
