Eastside Skate Park at Speicher Park has been closed indefiniately by the City of San Bernardino, Public Works department due to vandalism and a small fire.  The park was closed without notice to the residents or the youth who skate at the park.  

The youth of the local region use this park to practice their hobby as skate boarders and use this time to stay off the streets of San Bernardino in a positive way.  With the nearest skate park over five miles away, this park is used constantly by the east side youth residents.  This petition is to be distributed through social media and asked that all who believe this park should remain for the children of the eastside corridor to please sign. 

Worried about their futures of having no place to gather and skate, brings great concern to the parents of these youths.  Lets bring these young kids back off the streets and back into positive thinking roles.  Skaters they are, its a hobby, it saves kids from the streets, drugs, gangs, crime.
