Books are so important to everyone, young and old alike and having trained staff to deal with the public's enquiries and discuss particular books with some knowledge is vital to the running of the library service.

Our libraries are the epicentres of so many worlds. Their dismantling dismantles communities. And we've had enough of that hurting our future generations as it is.

We can not imagin to live without our library. This is so important in this crazy-electronic-shopping world to have calm, inspirational place like library. It is a place that create completely different, alternative to the main stream, style of life that is so important for next generation to make them able to think, be creative, independent in opinion and open-minded. If we would look into our future we need to let our children hide into atmosphere of library. My child is reading 15 books a week and thanks to our Greenfield library has possibility to exchange books regularly and extend his interest by another and another different topic. We love books as a family and also like to making special meeting in library with our friends, so it is invaluable part of our social life.

Outsourcing is bad for libraries and their stock. It is also bad for staff and their T's and C's. It also continues to fund organisations which provide poor services on the cheap.
