It has been announced that the owners of Doncaster Airport, The Peel Group, are considering closing Doncaster Airport. I have over the years travelled abroad from 8 different UK airport's, and the best experience's of any of my many departures and arrivals have all been through Doncaster. It is easily accessible and a pleasure not to have to queue for extended periods. There are always plenty of Gates open and sufficient Security staff to move people through in a timely manner. I find it difficult to understand why when other airports are cancelling flights every day such an excellent airport is facing possible closure. 

Doncaster Airport is the best airport serving the Yorkshire and the North Midland's.
