We urge our leaders to protect our town's history, Mill Village neighborhoods, and vacant Mill property from the development of multi-family and apartment housing of any type on the Mill property once the property is sold/developed by the Town of Pineville and/or any potential developer. If the property is developed with 400 - 500 apartments and town homes, it would greatly impact the traffic and would destroy the history of the mill property, as well as the historic designation for some of the mill houses in that area.  Our town cannot handle anymore traffic.
Please consider preserving the Mill property with green space and light retail, along with single family homes that would blend in with what is already in the area, in relation to current lot sizes and house design. This is what many citizens would like to see.
We are opposed to any apartments or a large number of town homes.
