Knowing that university track and field is virtually the only pipeline that feeds our US Olympic teams, I am supporting this movement and asking that Clemson University reconsiders their earlier decision to dump track and field so that football can have excessive scholarships and coaching staff to maintain their program. You are ignoring many long standing traditions at your university and our nation. I am a former DI scholarship athlete at U. of Oklahoma and coach at U. of Dayton.

Our children is our future, we have enough kids who don't want to do anything to further their life. But the ones that do then we have you people at the University like Clemeson that want to end these young men and women dreams by wanting to close down. Think for one second, no matter what your race is what if they would have closed down schools and Higher Education on you. And you would not have the position you have now and not only that if they do close it down and you go apply somewhere else and use Clemson University as a reference and they say NO. How are you going to feel. Be trueful with yourself.

These athletes work their whole lives to get to this point. We all know Clemson has the money to support the team if it wanted. Don't take this away from them.
