Save Byng Place Falafel stall

Save Byng Place Falafel stall
Why this petition matters
Yacine Hamdi has started a falafel stall on Byng Place WC1E in the midst of the pandemic. At the time, he was delivering falafel lunches to the Wittington and Royal Brompton Hospitals on a daily basis to feed the hospital staff during their long shifts. As the lockdowns gradually eased, he got the opportunity to start his stall using Hoxton Beach products and develop a lunch offer at Byng Place. He was the only trader and step by step, one day at a time, managed to build loyalty among his customers. 2 years later, his stall is extremely popular and allows him and his colleague Musa to make a living. This stall allows Yacine to pay his rent and to support his 8 years old son as a single parent.
However, it has been decided by Camden Council Market department to take the spot away from Yacine to offer it to a different market trader . Probably a different falafel stall who will pick up the business patiently built by Yacine and use it for their own profit.
We do not know why this is happening but as local residents we are demanding here to know the reason why Yacine would be seized his business in such a brutal way.
We would like the Council to reconsider their decision and let Yacine carry on feeding the local community with healthy and fresh vegan food everyday.
