This petition to Honorable PMO, MHA, MHRD is on behalf of all the Students in Past and Present who have passed out of ARPS, and Teachers asking intervention of the Government of India to Save the School !. Today where in India Literacy is one of our main challenges, It is a fine Producer of Amazing Profession Citizen of India.

ARPS is more than 35 Years old 100% Residential School for Boys under the Assam Rifles, DGAR governed by the Ministry of Home. Sponsored by the NEC with almost close to 100 students presently.

ARPS is one the best Schools in India and more than 650 Students are staying in ARPS from Class IV to Class XII. School has a very good campus. Now the Management declares that it's unable to pay the Teachers further wef 1st April and hence will close down ARPS. 29 Batches have passed our of ARPS and are in various fields doing exceptionally well. The School is a home for these students past and present ! As an Alumni of ARPS we can never see the School going down. Students of ARPS are in various fields from the Army to Doctors, and from Business Men to Advocates. ARPS is a premier boarding school in the North-East. Closing down the School shows lack of Management and sheer ignorance towards development of Education in India. What about the present students and their parents? Where did their hopes of making their Boys a successful citizen of India Go ?
